Self Introduction
Hello! I'm Wang Ruijue, a current graduate student at the National University of Singapore (NUS), pursuing a Master of Science in Digital Financial Technology. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Analytics with Honours, with a second major in Economics and a minor in Computer Science.
Throughout my academic journey, I've been deeply involved in quantitative research and data analytics, with hands-on experience in both financial and healthcare sectors. Most recently, I'm working as a Data Analyst Intern at NTUC Health, where I manage stakeholder requirements, develop automated data pipelines, and build production-grade dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
Previously, I interned with the Credit Research Initiative (CRI) at the Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF), focusing on data management and operational optimization for large-scale financial databases. I also had the opportunity to work as a Quantitative Strategy Research Intern at Beavo Investment, where I developed high-frequency trading models and optimized computational workflows.
In terms of technical skills, I'm proficient in Python, SQL, R, MATLAB, and Google Looker Studio, with experience in tools like Apache Airflow, BigQuery, Bitbucket, and Excel VBA. I enjoy applying these tools to solve complex, real-world problems, particularly in financial analytics and digital infrastructure.
Outside of work, I actively participate in various co-curricular activities, including the NUS Chinese Drama Club, Viva Latinus Club, and the Math and Data Science Society. I’m also passionate about Chinese Opera, playing the ukulele, and exploring creative projects.
Always eager to learn, collaborate, and connect — feel free to reach out!
