Self Introduction
Hello, my name is Wang Ruijue. I am a current graduate student at the National University of Singapore
pursuing Master of Science in Digital Fintech. I was graduated from NUS with Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Analytics, with a second major in Economics and a minor in Computer Science.
In addition to my education, I have had the opportunity to gain practical experience as a quantitative strategy research intern at Beavo Investment,
where I cleaned raw data, designed and implemented models, and improved code efficiency by parallel programs.
Besides, I was working as a student researcher in the Data Management Team in Credit Research Initiative(CRI) in Asian Institute of Digital Finance(AIDF) for 1-year internship.
During the work, I get chances to use multiple programming languages to monitor the financial data operation that is retrieved from various data source and improve the data generating process.
In terms of technical skills, I have a strong foundation in Python, R, SQL and Matlab, and had experience in utilizing them in my school projects or internship.
Also, I'm a quick learner, team player and enjoy chanllenging myself to work with new technologies and tools.
Outside of my academic and professional experiences, I am an active member of several co-curricular activities,
such as the NUS Chinese Drama Club, Viva Latinus Club, Math and Data Science Society, and have participated in various volunteer experiences.
Besides, I have many other interests like Chinese Opera and ukulele. Hope to make friends with you!
